As a proud sap and card-carrying romantic, I love a holiday that celebrates the relationships that we have with the people who are most important to us. It also helps that there is nothing scary or disgusting about this holiday, it isn’t ridiculously hot outside, and I don’t feel obligated to purchase thoughtful and treasured gifts for everyone on a long list.
