Today I’ll be sharing my Halloween mantel + some free downloads for you as well. I’m so excited Halloween is just around the corner. It is one of my favorite holidays!
For my mantel this year I wanted to keep it pretty simple with Black, white and a pop of orange.
I created some fun stuff using Shutterfly for my mantel. I love their photo blocks. The witch looks so neat behind the glass!
I also made some pillows to dress up my couch. I’m not usually an orange fan… but I’m kind of loving these orange dot pillows. Perfect for Halloween!
For the banner I printed off 4×6 prints from Shutterfly and then hole punched the corners and pulled twine through. I hung it on my mantel with clear push pins. It only cost $1 to make!

Free downloads
The free download includes:
- Spooky banner
- Happy Halloween sign
- Witch picture
- Orange dot pattern (for pillows)
- Black chevron pattern (for pillows)
To make the pillows that I have shown above head over to the Shutterfly home decor line and select the pillows and then ‘photo gallery.’ Then you can upload the saved image from your computer and place into the design. Arrange the image how you would like, but do not add text. Preview the design and then hit order. It’s super easy. I love how mine turned out! For the metal print click here, glass block here …then follow the same instructions as above.
I also thought it would be fun to make tulle bats. I found the spool of tulle on sale at Hobby Lobby. Then I just cut 3 inch pieces and tied a knot in the middle. I hung them up on the wall with glue dots. So simple and adds a fun little touch! I also found the cutest felt garland from Petite Party Studio.
Here’s another option for the Halloween print. Just print off a 4×6 and then frame it. Cute and easy!
