I love this rag wreath from Sassy Sanctuary. The entry way sets the tone of your party and it’s important to make a great first impression.

A patriotic topiary is a genius addition to Fourth of July decor and I love the one that Simply Designing has put together. The best part is that you can put this out weeks before the party starts as your regular holiday decor.

I’ve seen a lot of things scouring the internet for new and fresh ideas and when I stumbled across this one, I immediately loved it. These confetti rockets from Alphamom are something that I have honestly not seen before.

Martha never disappoints. These star medallions could be hung from trees, the roof of a patio, the back of chairs, the possibilities are endless.

Kami from No Biggie used craft and baking items from around her home to fill glass apothecary jars and used them as centerpieces. Genius!

I love a quick and easy idea like this one from My Insanity. Take some red, white, and blue bandanas and sew them together to create a festive tablecloth!

And keeping with the bandana theme, why not use them as napkins for your guests as well like Kimba from A Soft Place to Land? Placed in a mason jar with silverware, these are a great green alternative to the usual plastic forks and paper napkins.

And speaking of food, let’s get to it! Honestly, cooking isn’t as much my “thing” as dessert is, so here are some of my favorite dessert ideas. The first is so simple: store-bought ice cream sandwiches rolled in sprinkles. Why have I never thought of this before?!? Thank you Felt So Cute for sharing!

Sheryl from The Lady Behind the Curtain used the newest trend in desserts to create these Firework Cupcake Push-Pops.

With berries being in season, a tart is a great, refreshing option to dessert. Martha Stewart shares a recipe for the perfect one.

I absolutely adore the idea of berry stir sticks from Country Living as well. It’s little details like these that will make your party stand out!

Why relegate your drink to the big, clunky coolers if you don’t have to? These metal buckets from Martha were decorated with vinyl stars for easy removal after the party.

I hope you’ve enjoyed some of the best Patriotic Party ideas out there! I have even more posted on my Patriotic Party board over at Pinterest. I’d love to have you come check them out!

  3. Your blog is wonderful, but it never appears as a full entry in my Google Reader anymore. I usually access my fave blogs from my phone while at lunch or having a quiet moment to myself. Is there a way that you can allow your posts to show up in Readers as full posts? Sometimes my phone can’t handle the click over.
